Hello,

Please find a request to add the French Government's ALSR Aircraft.

This final version of this aircraft is still in flight trials, and an initial version without the full sensor suite is slated for entry into service this year.

An interim capability for the platform exists already in the form of Beechcraft 350s with the full sensor packages installed that are leased from CAE Aviation. These aircraft are currently used in support of French operations in Africa (and elsewhere).

I had a question on translations of acronyms/names - ALSR stands for Avion Leger de Surveillance and Reconnaissance (Light Surveillance and Reconnaissance Aircraft). Does the group prefer we use the original name e.g. ALSR (Avion Leger de Surveillance and Reconnaissance) or some combination that provides an english language version of the name? I have suggested a version in this CR.

Please let me know your thoughts/comments.

Regards,

Gareth (on behalf of Simthetiq)
