I can't imagine a valid use case for creating that weapon under ADA and platforms. I do not think that hand-held weapons should go there.

I do think there's a use case for things like dropped weapons, but I don't think they should go into platforms. To be honest, this is a near-term issue, but was planning to use the "supplies" redesign if at all possible. Maybe not.

This is an interesting one.

What are you trying to achieve here?

If you were trying to represent a lifeform (human), on land, from Russian, in the army, carrying a MANPADS which is a MK310, then you would use the 3.1.222.11.85.23 enumerations Lance mentioned.

If you were trying to identify the actual SA-16 unit as a complete assembly, it would require a new CR to be raised (as it currently does not exist).

This CR should look something like:

1.1.222.28.28 SA-16 SAM System (9K310)
1.1.222.28.28.1 9P322 Launch Tube
1.1.222.28.28.2 9P519 Grip-Stock
1.1.222.28.28.3 9B238 Ground Power Supply Unit

(see http://www.armyrecognition.com/russia_russian_army_light_heavy_weapons_uk/sa-16_gimlet_9k310_igla-1_man-portable_missile_technical_data_sheet_specifications_pictures.html)

This would not include the actual missle itself, which is already listed as:

2.1.222.1.28.1 SA-16 Gimlet (9M313)

Hopefully this helps,

Regards,
