The enumerations should be based on system or training requirements. Appearance is only a factor. If the two devices function differently, and knowing which is which would impede requirements, then I would argue towards separate enumerations. If instead it's just a "mode" of some sort that could be sent in the Entity State PDU, then that might be an option. I don't know.

No problem then really -

If there are no objections, I will update the CR to return it to just the one entry

AGM-158C LRASM 2.9.225.1.26.3

And then release with rc-02 (once any other changes are made from rc01).

I am also keeping an issue register for the v24 release.

David Ronnfeldt

Interesting arguments. But I thought the driving factor should be appearance. (I have not examined these for any difference in appearance.) If there is no significant difference in appearance, then better to have only one entity type enumeration? Otherwise any multi-role/multi-purpose/multi-domain munition or platform could arguably result in multiple entity type enumerations?

I still feel that they need to be entered as 2 unique items, as they get configured different depending on the intended use..... (so will have different damage effects at least, and possible different performance capabilities).

Here is an new revision to add extra information in the descriptions.

Rev C - Add (Battlefield Support Configuration) and (Anitship Configuration) to the descriptions.

David Ronnfeldt
